UPSC Notification 2024
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the Civil Service Examination 2024 on upsc.gov.in. Candidates both male and female whose age is not more than 32 years and who are graduates can apply for the examination. They can submit their online application on the official website of UPSC. Registration begins on 14 February and the last date of registration is 5 March 2024. However, the dates for correction of the application form are 6 to 12 March 2024. The applicant needs to register himself/herself first at the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed to fill up the online application for the examination.

UPSC Selection Process
The Union Public Service Commision scrutinises the candidate throgh three stage process as described below:
- UPSC CSE Prelims Exam 2024: Prelim examination includes two papers Paper-I (General Studies) and Paper-II( CSAT). Both papers are based multiple choice question type (i.e One question with multiple options. Aspirant has to select one correct choice out of it.). It’s a qualifying stage, and your score doesn’t contribute to the final merit list.
- UPSC CSE Main Examination 2024: A written descriptive examination to test candidates analytical skills, understanding and knowledge. It is writen examination and contains nine papers.
- UPSC Interview 2024: Those who qualify in main written examination will be called for final interview.
UPSC Admit Card 2024: Check Dates and Other Details
Candidates who successfully completes and submit their applications will be called for the UPSC CSE Prelims Exam, scheduled on 26th May 2024. Candidates who qualify in the CSE Prelim Examination will be notified for written examination.
